2026 Chili Cook-Off!

Get Ready to Spice Things Up at the 2026 Boiling Pot Chili Cook-Off!

Sample some tasty chili at the 2026 Boiling Pot Chili Cook-Off on September 26, and vote for your favorite. Tasting is down by the Museum in the 200 block of West Iron Avenue, following the Street Fair Parade. Tickets to sample all the chili are only $2.50. Each ticket purchased can then be used to vote for your favorite chili.

Winners will be announced at 2 pm from the main stage in front of the Museum.

People’s Choice Winner: Voted on by the public, announced at 2 pm.

A great museum for the whole family! We were traveling from the kc area to Colorado and had to stop due to the interstate being closed. We saw the museum was open and were able to spend about 3 hours there walking around the museum. We have three kids, ages 2, 5, 7 who asked if we could go to it again on the way home. Thanks for allowing us to spend a good chunk of our day there! We will be back!
